This customer was
experiencing supply and quanlity problems
with the previous supplier.
The tooling was delivered to Hilton Engineering
Plastics Ltd. We conducted a study of the
components and of each moulding. Over a very
tight custoemr define schedule we completed
a full assessment and capabilty study of the
mouldings and tooling.
We recommended a list of changes and after
customer approval these actions were agreed
and implemented, we were able to increase
the production output from a best of 160 per
week at the previous manufacturer to a potential
of over 3000 per week.
We manufacture all moulded components, sourced
all other items from either UK or Overseas
suppliers and deliver the finished product
in end-user packaging with bar codes to the
customer logistics facility.
Expected sales volume increased from
planned 600 per week to over 2500 per week.
The success of our assessment, implementation
and quality control ensured our customer not
only met planned requirements but also their
unplanned! |
